As part of your USpain experience, you will participate in an internship, volunteer or similar activity that provides you with a "real-world" context in which to practice your Spanish linguistic, cultural and/or professional skills. We arrange each immersion activity on an individual basis to ensure that the location, time schedule, personnel, skills required and duties involved are a good fit for you. Prior to your arrival in Valencia, we'll ask you about your interests and experiences, and upon your arrival we'll evaluate your comfort level with spoken and written Spanish. We'll then arrange interviews with for you with reputable, established organizations throughout the Valencia metro area. Finally, we provide you with support throughout the term of your immersion activity and provide assistance whenever needed. There is no additional program fee for any immersion activity arranged and supervised by USpain!

As part of your USpain curriculum, you'll have the opportunity to meet professionals in your chosen career field as lecturers in our classes, expert guides in our field seminars, and/or guests at USpain activities. We'll attend expositions, job fairs and related events on campus and around town, as well as arrange visits to local organizations to learn more about everyday business operations in Spain. And we'll help you set up your own curriculum vitae, LinkedIn profile, and other helpful professional media accounts in Spanish so you'll be prepared to apply for jobs worldwide when you graduate!

That's why USpain offers blended conversational courses designed especially to help you learn, understand and practice the fundamental terms, phrases and topics relevant to your double-major and/or future career.
